World Heart Day is observed every year on the 29th of September.
Cardiovascular diseases(CVD) are the number one cause of death in the world. In the current scenario, the entire world is being extremely cautious and sceptical about what course the coronavirus pandemic is set to take with no cure in sight. However, this does not mean we should ignore CVDs that are still the primary cause of deaths in the world. There are many causes of heart diseases, but with the COVID contagion out in the world, it becomes extremely important for patients with heart diseases to take care of themselves.
World Heart Federation’s theme for 2020 World Heart Day is #UseHeart to beat heart Diseases. Be a Heart Hero!
So, this year, let’s pledge to #UseHeart to save out people from heart diseases.
