With a keen interest in curriculum development, he has contributed significantly to medical education and research, authoring 96 indexed scientific publications and 13 book chapters. Recipient of numerous accolades, including the Pope Paul Medal (1991), R.K. Gandhi Medal (1998), Pfizer Research Award (2010), and K.C. Sogani Medal (2023), Dr. Das actively serves on specialty boards for Pediatric Surgery under the NMC and NBEMS and is Secretary of the Society for Children with DSD India.
