As I was Strolling along the Beach…

0

It was early in the morning, just about 6.30am when I was taking a casual morning stroll. I saw a group of fishermen struggling to adjust their nets with the direction of the waves. A lot depended upon their swimming as they had to go across the wave for a better hold on the nets and of course – a better catch for the day!

A time so calm for me was one of make it or break it for these fishermen. Their entire day and their families’ depended upon their catch.  A delicious meal or just a few crumbs of bread – alas! It is a struggle for life and livelihoods.
