I eat way too much- Gondolas

13+

Welcome to this new segment that I like calling, I eat way too much. To put some good use to it, I will keep my readers well informed about new and old places in and around Bombay and I promise not to be biased as most of the food influencers might be.

The first place that I visited for this segment was GONDOLA’S or as I usually refer to it as my second home. Gondola’s is well known for their sizzlers and steaks and I would go there so often that as soon as I entered the kind server would know my order.

The Prawn Shaslik is the go to choice. Steam rice, vegetables and Fries, a lot of Friesss. What I did most of the time was order a Prawn Shaslik with steam rice, fries and tell them to add mash potatoes instead of the vegetables. Now that’s PARADISE!!!

Well last weekend I decided to try something new, as many say a new approach to life, I decided to have a new approach when it comes to food. I mentioned at the start, Gondola’s is known for their Sizzlers and Steaks but they are unbelievable when it comes to Chinese. The food they prepare is just wonderful, homely and definitely mouth watering. One such meal that I had this weekend was the mouth watering Egg Burnt Garlic Fried rice. This Egg Burnt garlic fried rice was done to perfection, it was just fantastic. Little did I know that the egg burnt garlic fried rice is sufficient for 3-4 people, it was very filling. No matter how full I was I just couldn’t stop till it was all over.

Now while most people like to pair their fried rice with a gravy like a manchurian, etc. I do the opposite, I prefer pairing it with a dry dish and the best from the lot was the Beef Continental. Fine well cut pieces of Beef with a signature sauce, along with some well cut onions, chillies and french fries a whole lot of friesss. Sufficient for 2-3 people.

The perfect end to a meal like this would be the all time favourite Sizzling Brownie, who doesn’t love a sizzling brownie? Clearly, everyone loves a sizzling brownie, as they had unfortunately run out the night I went. In a way it’s good it wasn’t there cause I’ll just go back sooner than expected to get my hands on a chocolate delight.

That’s all for today. Stay tuned for more food adventures and stay updated with this new segment that I like to call I eat way too much.
